Newest Edition

Friends from Idaho brought baby kittens with them hoping to get rid of them. Of course the girls were like, "Please can we have one, Please, Please..." Lee said "No" Look who won...

Yep, the girls wore him down, and now we have a kitty. We cant tell if its female or male yet, but as of right now, the name is Suki.

Alien Day Parade

So every year McMinnville has an Alien Celebration. Thanks to a famous old photo of a UFO shot nearby. This year we decided to attend the Alien Day Parade. I was surprised how many people showed up for the parade. Wow! And all the costumes were quite creative. Madi and her fellow band mates marched in the parade. They wore t-shirts that said "Music is out of this world":) Check out some of the pictures I took of the Alien Invasion!

The Tulip Festival

A couple of years ago I took the girls to the Tulip Festival, but because of bad winter weather, most of the tulips hadn't bloomed. It was quite disappointing. This year I took the girls so I could shoot pictures of them, and it was blooms galore!

Yes,That bright ball of light in the sky is the Sun!

Friday was the perfect spring day. The sun was shining in the bright blue sky. And we actually reached 70!
I spent most of the day outside with Kylie and her cousins.
Kylie asked me if her cousin, Avah could hold nature. Avah just turned one.
This is the "nature" that Kylie was referring to. We took the lady bug and placed it in Avah's hand, which made her tremble until it climbed up her arm and then she became curious. We love nature:) And warm spring sunny days.

Our Seattle Trip 2010

This is our first blog post! I decided we would start with our Seattle Family Trip last summer 2010.
We stayed with Family in Tacoma. There was so much to do there. We spent a day in Seattle, first at the Space Needle and then Pacific Science Center. Then we hopped on the Monorail and rode that to a mall, which then we only had a few blocks to walk to Pikes Market. It was neat to see what all the vendors were selling. We however did not get to see them throw a fish. Maybe next time. We ended up taking a ferry to Bainbridge Island where we ate dinner and then rode the ferry back. It was lovely to see the Seattle skyline at night. We spent another day at Wild Waves. The girls really enjoyed the wave pool. And also the amusement rides. It was a little too crowded for the slides.Boo!
We were in the butterfly room and this butterfly loved Paige and took a ride for awhile.

Riding the ferry.

I hate roller-coasters or anything fast and scary. Paige got me to go on the Mouse Trap! I did it!

Hello Cupcake! Yummy gourmet cupcakes.

Took the girls kayaking. Kylie and I did the paddle boat.

Spent a day at the Zoo. Paige was so thrilled to be here. haha

Paige found this tiny star-fish in the Puget Sound.
